In trying to finish up all my holiday achievements during the Love is in the Air event we had to go visit Silvermoon City. Now I am a blood elf fangirl and if I can play a belf I usually do. I love their lore and it’s some of my favorite in the game. However since Mists of Pandaria was released I haven’t been anywhere much other than Orgrimmar, Dalaran and the Shrine of Two Moons. And I have to admit I am so tired of looking at Orgimmar and having to go there for portals and what-not that I’ve resorted to calling it the dirt city.
Anyway, when we arrived in Silvermoon City to give my finally taking a stand leader a bracelet, I was overwhelmed once again with the beauty of Silvermoon.
The city is easy to move around and find things in. The layout makes sense and flows well. It is very large and has many short cuts through the buildings to make it even easier to get around. The amenities that the City offers are vast! There are plenty of inns, auction houses and places to lounge with your friends.
The architecture is beautiful with deep color curtains and open buildings to enjoy the warm fresh air. After all you know us belfs keep it a very comfortable warm atmosphere. The buildings are tall and tower over you without making you feel tiny. The warm glow from the buildings make the city light up even more.
Speaking of fresh air, there are plenty of benches to rest on in and outside of the city with friends as you take in our well cared for landscaping! We take great pride in our mesh of environment and luxury.
Not only does the city have amazing landscaping, Eversong Forest has beautiful trees and waterfalls to enjoy picnics at with that special someone. Nothing like looking out over a falling waterfall under a canopy of leaves changing beautiful colors. We also have secluded beaches to watch the sunset.
For you lore buffs out there we still have The Dead Scar that you can visit to see what true horror came to call on the original Silvermoon and our people. Feel free to take a walk down the full Scar and see where it takes you! Take the time to experience our past!
I know the things that Silvermoon lacks which include flying and portals, but even passing up on these things every now and again can’t be that bad can it? Come enjoy the life and luxury of Silvermoon City. Stroll our streets with friends and remember the joy of riding your favorite land mount that just maybe no one has seen in a while. You don’t even need a reason to visit, just pop over, pull up a hookah pipe and relax!
